OWED Strengthens Capacity Through Street Child Cameroon Workshop

In December 2024, the Organization for Women Empowerment and Development (OWED) participated in a transformative five-day workshop hosted by Street Child Cameroon. The training aimed at enhancing the capacities of 35 local organizations operating across the North West and South West Regions of Cameroon, empowering them with the knowledge and tools needed to improve project implementation, accountability, and sustainability.

OWED was proudly represented by our Executive Director, Madam Mildred Ndzerem, whose active participation reaffirmed our organization’s dedication to continuous learning and collaboration. The workshop provided valuable insights into effective program management, partnership building, and community engagement—skills that will further strengthen OWED’s mission of empowering women, youth, and vulnerable populations.

This capacity-building opportunity marked yet another step in OWED’s commitment to growth, excellence, and lasting impact within the humanitarian and development space in Cameroon.
