In January 2025, the Organization for Women Empowerment and Development (OWED) held its beginning-of-year meeting at the organization’s office in Ntarinkon, Bamenda. The meeting brought together staff members and key team leaders to reflect on the achievements and lessons of the past year while charting a clear path for the activities and goals of 2025.
During the session, participants discussed the action plan for the year, focusing on strengthening community engagement, enhancing project implementation, and expanding partnerships that drive meaningful change. The meeting also served as a platform to realign the team’s vision and renew their shared commitment to empowering women, girls, and vulnerable communities through education, advocacy, and sustainable development initiatives.
The discussions ended on a note of optimism, teamwork, and renewed energy as OWED looks forward to another impactful year of service and transformation.
