In July 2025, the Organization for Women Empowerment and Development (OWED) proudly joined the Cameroon Peace Convention and fellow partner organizations to commemorate Pan African Women’s Day.
This day served as a reminder of the strength, resilience, and leadership of African women who continue to drive change across the continent. OWED’s participation highlighted our ongoing commitment to peacebuilding, gender equality, and women’s empowerment in Cameroon and beyond.
Together with other partners, we celebrated the contributions of African women in shaping a more inclusive, peaceful, and progressive society — reaffirming that when women rise, communities thrive and nations grow.
